This is a very sturdy long reach articulated TV Monitor Wall arm. Many times used as a bed monitor arm, since it can be attached to a side-wall next to a bed. It can easily be pulled from the wall and then stowed back.

Its 39.5" length and all the viewing capabilities make it the ideal arm for use in exam rooms, patient rooms or home. Its advantage is not only in the sturdy extra strong construction, but also in its unlimited viewing possibilities, since the TV monitor can face anywhere, even 100% to the floor, ceiling or any wall. Can be used on the sides of a bed or on the headboard wall, depending on the application. Also useful to bring a monitor to close to a Dental Chair.

When not in use, the arm can be simply pushed all the way back against the wall, as shown on the pictures below and by clicking the thumbnail images.

* Extra Long LCD Heavy-Duty Monitor wall arm: this solid 100% steel folding monitor arm that extends from 5.5" to 39.5" long.

Please note that this arm will extend back and forth, as explained above. It will always be parallel to the floor. It is not designed to go up or down. The image below shows a top view of the arm, so you can see the articulations. Do not confuse the following image with a "side view". The monitor tilts 90 degrees to each side and up or down!

Fold back flat against the wall:

This extra long LCD wall arm has unlimited viewing possibilities: the monitor can face almost anywhere. The LCD bracket tilts 90 degrees up or down, swivels 90 degrees to each side and rotates 360 degrees. Therefore, it can face 100% straight down to the bed or floor and to any wall.

LCD Monitor articulated TV hospital wall arm 39.5 inches long for Hospital, Healthcare, Dental Practice, Home in bed use.

Multiple adjustable articulations: the above movements are possible due to its multiple articulations: 1) next to the wall base (swivel 180 degrees); 2) elbow (swivel ~ 340 degrees); 3) at VESA plate (swivel 180 degrees and tilt 180 degrees); 4) Rotation (360 degrees).

* Torque adjustment: the torque (smoothness) of all the articulations can be easily adjusted.

* Cable Management: the cables can be run through the conduits on the arms.

Options:

1) D-REF Installation Reinforcement Plate: to ensure a sturdier installation, especially on hollow walls or non-concrete walls, we recommend the D-REF Installation Reinforcement Plate. This plate increases the size of the base, while adding extra mounting holes so as to better "catch" on studs or wall reinforcements. Most importantly, it allows to catch the stud in the middle of the stud and the middle of the base.  Click here to check it out or buy.

2) D200100  VESA Adapter: for TVs or LCD monitors with a 200 x 100 hole pattern simply add this adapter (select on drop down menu when buying the arm).

Note for Hollow-Wall installation:
The fasteners provided are for wood or concrete only. We do not include fasteners for hollow-walls, since they must be specific to the quality and thickness of your particular hollow-wall. We recommend metal anchors for at least 50 lbs each, to compensate for the down-force (torque) applied on the base of the arm when it is fully extended, horizontal to the floor. Consult a professional installer in case of doubt. The above D-REF plate aids in securing installation. An example of hollow-wall anchors can be seen here but the anchor used will depend on your type of hollow wall. Always tray to catch the stud with at least 2 bolts or reinforce the wall because the anchor will surely not break, the wall might.

Strong versatile monitor arm

This is a heavy super strong monitor arm. We use it for my father to watch TV in bed. The bed is close to the wall next to the bed, so we extend the arm from the wall until it is at his preferred viewing range. We love that when not in use, we can push it back, flush to the wall. We installed at an ideal height so my dad can even watch TV when totally laid down facing the ceiling, since the monitor can pivot to face the bed horizontally. It is very easy to move out of the way. Also, if your TV is at least 40" wide, when pushed back against the wall, you will not even see the arm. Looks great and will surely last for years.

Petrov,

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad it fit your needs.

Great sturdy arm form mt TV

This monitor arm is professional grade, which is what we were looking for, although this was set-up in a family home. We have tried other quite cheaper ones but returned them because the articulations were too soft, not precise and the arms looked too weak. They we light weight and the base was a thin metal, which looked thicker in the photos. This arm is totally different. Not only longer, but twice the weight and with an excellent powder coated finish. We are using this arm in a bedroom to bring a monitor to the bed of a ill family member so as to can easily use the computer in bed. He uses a wireless keyboard, which is also very convenient. We mounted the arm on the right side wall, which is around 2.5 - 3.5 feet from the bed. This arm is ideal, because we simply pull it out and in front of the user and then we can push it back all the way against the wall when not in use. It will go back flat against the wall. The back of the monitor will be around 4" from the wall. This is ideal for our small narrow bedroom. We will surely be getting another one to set up a 32" TV in our bedroom.
