1. What is a typical weight-to-size chart for TVs and monitors? 

It is important to know how much your monitor or TV weights, before mounting it to a TV or monitor stand, arm or bracket or any monitor mount in general to be sure the mount will perform as designed.

Due to the constant technology improvements, we do not have the latest weight comparison chart for monitors and TVs by size. However, we can give you a general idea based on common sizes and types.

The weight of monitors and TVs can vary based on the technology used (LCD, LED, OLED, etc.), build materials, and additional features. Here's a rough comparison:

Monitors:

20-24 inches:** 5-15 pounds (2.3-6.8 kg)
27 inches:** 10-20 pounds (4.5-9 kg)
32 inches:** 15-25 pounds (6.8-11.3 kg)
34 inches (ultrawide):** 20-30 pounds (9-13.6 kg)
40-43 inches:** 20-35 pounds (9-15.9 kg)

TVs:

32 inches:** 10-20 pounds (4.5-9 kg)
40-43 inches:** 15-30 pounds (6.8-13.6 kg)
50 inches:** 25-50 pounds (11.3-22.7 kg)

2. How long does it take for you to ship?

We regularly ship the same day we receive the order, when received before 03:00 PM EST. Then it takes 1 - 5 business days in transit. We send you the tracking # when we create the label.

4. Do you offer expedited shipping, like next day, 2 day 3 day, etc...?

5. Can we use our own shipping account?

Yes, if Fedex, UPS and DHL. WE can check for other carriers as well. Just contact us.

7. The shipping quotes on this website are to the contiguous U.S. only. What does contiguous U.S. mean? 

"Contiguous U.S." refers to the contiguous 48 states of the United States. It includes all states within the mainland of the country, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. The term is used to describe the connected or neighboring states that share physical borders with each other.

The shipping rates also do not include the "U.S. territiories". 

8. What are the U.S. territiories?

9. Do you computer desks require assembly?

Our desks come un-assembled, in flat boxes. They require assembly, that can take around 45 - 60 minutes. No extra tools necsessary. Each item includes any tool needed.

10. Your DW630-1218 over the bed monitor arm, ... how much weight can it take?

This monitor arm is meant to be used in bed and also is frequetly used in healthcare facilities, dentakl offices and assisted living environments, including many homes with bed-ridden individuals. It is important to use ONLY the weight specified, which is from 16 to 18 lbs.

11. What happens if I use a monitor or TV that is not in line with the 12 - 18 range specified for the DW630-1218 in-bed extra-long monitor wall arm?

If the monitor weighs less, then thearm will not stay in place where you want it because the springs loaded into the arm are "expecting" a heavier weight and the monitor will start to raise by itself. On the other hand, if the monotr used is heavier than the top range of 18 lbs, the arm might sag due to the arm now "expecting" a lighter weight.

12. What is a VESA mount and a VESA home mounting pattern? 

VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) mount refers to a standard for mounting flat-panel displays such as monitors, TVs, and other displays to stands or wall mounts. The VESA mount standard specifies the distance between the four mounting holes on the back of the display.

The VESA mount is characterized by a set of standardized hole patterns arranged in a square or rectangular shape. The most common VESA mounting patterns include:

  1. 75 x 75 mm
  2. 100 x 100 mm
  3. 200 x 100 mm
  4. 200 x 200 mm
  5. 400 x 200 mm
  6. 400 x 400 mm

These measurements represent the horizontal and vertical distances between the mounting holes in millimeters. For example, a VESA 100 x 100 mount has a square pattern with a 100 mm distance between the holes horizontally and vertically.

When purchasing a VESA mount or a display that supports VESA mounting, it's important to ensure that the VESA mount pattern of the display matches the pattern supported by the mount. This standardization allows for compatibility and interchangeability between different displays and mounts from various manufacturers.

In terms of a "VESA home mounting pattern," it's possible that there might be some confusion in the terminology. Generally, when discussing VESA mounting, it refers to the standard patterns mentioned above. 13. How to mount a monitor or TV to a monitor wall mount, ceiling mount, desk stand, etc.?

Mounting a monitor to a monitor mount is a relatively straightforward process, especially if both the monitor and the mount are VESA-compliant.

ALl our brackets are VESA 100 x 100 AND 75 x 75. We also have a adaptor for monitors or TVs with VESA 200 x 100 patterns. Here's a general guide of what you need:

  1. Monitor Mount Kit: Ensure that you have the appropriate monitor mount kit. This typically includes the mounting arm, screws, and any necessary tools.

  2. Monitor: Confirm that your monitor is VESA-compatible. Look for the VESA mount pattern specifications in the monitor's manual or on the back of the monitor. 

    These are the Steps:

  1. Check VESA Compatibility:

    • Look for the VESA mount pattern on the back of your monitor. Common patterns include 75 x 75 mm, 100 x 100 mm, 200 x 100 mm, and 200 x 200 mm.
    • Ensure that your monitor's VESA pattern matches the pattern supported by your monitor mount.

  2. Assemble the Mount:

    • Follow the instructions provided with your monitor mount to assemble its components.

  3. Remove the Monitor Stand:

    • If your monitor has a stand attached, you may need to remove it first. This often involves unscrewing it from the back of the monitor.

  4. Attach the Mounting Plate:

    • Attach the mounting plate of the monitor mount to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws. Ensure they are securely tightened but not overly tightened to avoid damaging the monitor.

  5. Adjust the Tilt and Swivel (if applicable):

    • Adjust the tilt and swivel settings on the monitor mount according to your preferences. Some mounts allow for easy adjustment to achieve the desired viewing angle.

  6. Secure the Monitor to the Arm:
